Jeremy Barber

Jeremy graduated from the University of Canberra with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy in 2024.

Having grown up in Canberra, his love for physiotherapy began in school studying exercise science and biology at Marist College. He played AFL and cricket throughout school and enjoyed participating in athletics. Jeremy follows every sport under the sun and can always be counted on for an obscure fact or statistic. In his spare time he can be found watching sport or playing local grade cricket with his mates, and is still waiting for a call up to the Australian top order. He also enjoys bingeing Marvel comics and working his way through a good TV show.

His passion for sport has led to an interest in sports injuries and rehabilitation. His experience as a physio for a Canberra Premier League soccer club and placement with the Canberra Raiders has only grown this interest further. His placement in the surgical ward at North Canberra Hospital has also spiked an interest in post-operative rehabilitation and recovery.

Jeremy’s university placements in sporting, musculoskeletal, neurological and hospital settings have helped form his beliefs on patient care. Jeremy believes in collaborating with patients to achieve their goals and return to pre-injury activity levels.
